She grew tired of visiting doctors and not feeling better. One day, her sister Karina told her about hot yoga and paid for her first class, so she would have to go. For the first time in her life, Angeles felt no pain. That's when she began her journey on the path of healing and teaching. She attended the Spring 2014 Bikram Yoga Teacher Training in Los Angeles, hoping to teach beginner yoga classes in English and Spanish and expand this yoga practice to the Latin community.

After two years of a consistent practice, she decided to become a teacher, so she could share this beautiful practice with the world. She completed her 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training at Village Yoga in Duck, NC. The 27-day immersion forever changed her life. Upon completion, she spent time teaching in the Women's Ward at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in Pennsylvania. Leo Eisenstein

Hot Yoga 26

Leo started his yoga 16 years ago when he accompanied a friend to Bikram Yoga. At the time, Leo was 408 lbs. Although it was difficult, he never felt as rejuvenated as he did after Bikram Yoga. With a regular practice and improved eating habits, Leo lost more than 220 lbs and healed several injuries. He decided to attend the Fall 2005 Bikram Yoga Teacher Training in Los Angeles. Although Leo wanted to improve his practice, he wanted to become a teacher first - not a yoga athlete. Since Leo believes yoga facilitates life, he strives to make everyone's practice in the hot room easer, so life can become a little easier too.

Maria Spano

Hot Yoga 26

Maria is an RYT-200 with an eternal curiosity for mind/body wellness. After reaching a crossroads in her own life, Maria first stepped into the hot room wracked with anxiety, debilitating depression and a growing list of symptoms stemming from unhealthy lifestyle habits & autoimmune hypothyroidism. Within weeks, swelling in her joints subsided and her depression began to wane. In just a few months, the increible healing of yoga was undeniable. Morning that once kicked off with the light of a cigarette and a can of Diet Coke were replaced with 26 postures, 2 breathing exercises and high-quality H2O. Her path became clear - help others find they strength, both on & off the mat.  Maria's classes encourage students, instill discipline and uplift spirits.
